Background

Once upon a time, there was a way to play called ante.

The exact rules varied by playgroup, but it was common to shuffle and cut as usual, but then start flipping cards until you arrived at the first card over some minimum value. Each player would put that card from their deck into the ante. Then you'd shuffle and cut again. At the end of the match, the winning player would keep all ante cards.

The Simplest Version

Then you need a way to copy it, any way that makes a token copy, not the actual card.

Cast the Dance of Many choosing your Timmerian Fiends as the target. Activate the token's ability. Your token will go to their graveyard, and you get to keep their Candelabra of Tawnos permanently.

Then pour some salt in the wound with a witty phrase like "That's a nice shiny glass bead you got there. Thanks."

Get the non-artifacts

Let's say you've already taken all of your friends' money artifacts. How do you get their Tarmogoyf? Here's one option. Just make their permanent an artifact:

If this isn't Johnny Combo enough for you, there are some options to really go nuts here.

Tempest Efreet plays very much the same as Timmerian Fiends -- copy and get swap-y. But wait, there's more!

Gives you swapping in artifact form. Only problem is that it enters tapped so you'll need something to get the token to untap. Here's what you need to copy it though:

If you use the Tempest Efreet or the Bronze Tablet, you'll also need Mindslaver so that you'll be able to Dance of Many your creature on your turn, and then force your opponent to NOT choose to lose 10 life when you activate your token's ability.
