  • WWizards of the Coast2004-10-04
    Official Ruling
Treat the token as entering as a copy of the chosen creature. If that creature normally gets counters when entering, the token creature gets counters.
  • WWizards of the Coast2004-10-04
    Official Ruling
The ability is targeted and checks the validity of the target when put on the stack and when resolving. If the creature is not still there when the copy ability resolves, the ability doesn't resolve and no token is put onto the battlefield. This card remains on the battlefield as an enchantment with no token.
  • WWizards of the Coast2004-10-04
    Official Ruling
Destroying the creature that was copied will not cause the token creature to be destroyed as well.
  • WWizards of the Coast2004-10-04
    Official Ruling
    The mana cost is copied.
  • WWizards of the Coast2004-10-04
    Official Ruling
Each Dance of Many is associated only with its token creature. If one Dance leaves the battlefield, only the corresponding token is affected, not all tokens from all instances of Dance of Many.
  • WWizards of the Coast2009-10-01
    Official Ruling
If Dance of Many leaves the battlefield before its first ability has resolved, its second ability will trigger and do nothing. Then its first ability will resolve and put a token onto the battlefield. That token won't have any connection to a Dance of Many permanent, so it won't be exiled when a Dance of Many leaves the battlefield.

Kederekt Leviathan + any permanent based creature clone (Phyrexian Metamorph, Clone, Vesuvan Doppelganger, Dance of Many) has great synergy. Here's why. Cast Kederekt to bounce everything. Next turn, attack whoever has nothing in play. Then cast the clone on Kederekt, bouncing everything again. Rinse & repeat. Add in Volrath's Stronghold for even more fun. If they happen to kill one of your two bouncers, you just draw it next turn and replay it. If you add in Lightning Greaves (and have the mana to replay it every turn because you'll keep bouncing it), you can swing against zero defenses, because they won't even be able to use Maze of Ith.
